This is my entry for SSPC with their oc Gentle Heart.

Personality : A straight forward, but kind and gentle soul with a passion for baking. His specialty dish is a fruit cocktail cheesecake.

How they met : One night as Gentle Heart was closing shop one of the birds managed to escape it's cage and flew out the door, before she knew it the bird was long out of sight. Just outside of town Berry Slim noticed that very bird and calmly approached it while holding out a piece of cake he had been eating, he then decided to see if perhaps the bird had a home. He scooped the bird up with his wing and gently carried it into town where he bumped into Gentle Heart who was still looking for the bird. She looked up and noticed that this batpony had the escaped bird, after a few words Berry Slim agreed to help her place the bird back into it's cage. After that Berry Slim would stop by the shop just before dusk and talk to Gentle Heart often bringing her a tasty treat from his bakery.
